hi..i have a very small problem..i want to setup the values of s-registers of my modem and i don't know the modem name and i don't have its manual ...in device manger no name is appear only thing is that"modem " and my modem working very fine..
 how can i find out the values of s-registers for my modem.

We would need the modem's make and model to give exact info, but here is a fairly popular modem's "s- registers"

The functions of S-Registers vary from modem to modem, which is why communications software and some operatings systems insist on knowing the manufacturer and model of your modem.
