Start and stop sound to match movie

I need to start and stop a sound to match the movie. As in if a user clicks a stop button in frame 123, then the sound stops accordingly. Then if the user clicks a go button, then the sound picks up where it left off at frame 124 and continues playing.

Any help out there?

hello,

similar to adilkhan url... to give you more info...

you can do this...

create a movieclip then import your sound on it.. select streaming drag it in the stage with an instance name mysound

on (release){
 _root.mysound.stop();
  // or
// _root.mysound.play();
}

or

mysound = new Sound();
mysound.loadSound("myfavsound.mp3",false);

on (release) {
          mysound.stop()
}

on (release) {
      mysound.start();
}

hope that helps.
