Compacting Exchange Server 5.5 database

Hi everyone,
My exchange 5.5 database is getting too big and running out of space.  I don't have another NT 4.0 server with enough disk space to run eseutil.exe on, but I have a windows 2000 server that I would like to use to run eseutil to compact the database.  I can't find anything online that tells me if I can run eseutil.exe for the exchange 5.5 running NT 4.0 on a windows 2000 server.  Thank you so much!
