How do i find out the bit level of the operation system....Mine is either 32bit or 64bit??

If you are trying to figure out a survey about your computer, and they write computer Hardware...where would i find that information and what are they asking for?

how do you find out how the version number of an application you are running on your computer?

no homework...just some general questions on a survey at work...that i don;t know how to answer
Luc Franken

I don't know if answering those is against the Member Agreement.
Only advice I can give you at this moment is: try Google.

Just curious, LucF, would this info be pertinent to a hack?  I just don't see it, but you must be thinking about something I am not.

No, not a hack, but take a look here http:/help.jsp#hi105 and maybe you'll understand my cautions.... :-(

Dear MrSaunders,

Doesnt your survey come with multiple choices ? How difficult this survey is ...

Guys , why dont we bring a mod in so that he can decide whether this needs to be answered or not

Thanks,
Sunray

Ok...  I get it now.  I turned my niece (2nd year engineering degree) onto this site to help her with some tough math and explained the same thing to her.  Guidance is all we can give.

Afternoon, sun.......   speaking of the sun, where did it go?  Snow!!!!  Ugh!

Ok..  come back and the answers are flying in!  (Doubt whether you are using a 64 bit OS...  since they are just coming out.  And the new OS's are too.)

So I will just comment to Sunray  :)  Nope, actually I am at home now, reloading my laptop, thinking about building a new server for the house, watching the snow fall.  Trying to decide whether to attend Church services tonight with my sister.  hmmm
