Watcom SQL has taken over my Presto Page Manager
When I try to open my Presto Page Manager program, all I get is Watcom SQL 4.0 and a blank page. I am a computer neophyte. I don't know what Watcom SQL is or why I even have it. I must have accidently done something to create this problem, but I have no idea how to fix it. The only new program I have installed lately is Norton Firewall. I am running Windows 98SE. How do I send Watcom back to where it belongs?

Watcom sql is a database that shipped with PowerBuilder. You may have an application that uses this database. search you registry for .db extension and you may a find a odbc entry where this watcom database should be placed. Or search for odbc.ini, odbcinst.ini in your file system and open these files to see any entries that point to a file with .db extension.

I did this and found nothing I could match to this situation. Thanks for the suggestion.
I had already posted this question as a Database topic; but so far, no answer there either.

I will try again. When I said I was a neophyte, I wasn't kidding. However, I am usually pretty good at following instructions (even when I don't understand exactly what I am doing or why).
I am beginning to think that I got in over my head when I joined this group. I just use my computer...I don't even attempt to completely understand how it works. At age 70, I decided not to try to push my brain that hard anymore. I feel that I am just not computer literate enough to make proper use of the help I am being offered. Thanks for your efforts and patience.
