how to create samller installshield package??

we encounter problems of making our package smaller?
any suggestions? i' tried Vbuild but it's too expensive.

hopefully, i tried couple of zip utilities like winzip, winrar,
they perform well, but we observed that no matter how many files put in the installshield, even non; size of the created package retain at least 1200 Kb something. That "SIZE" raised up concerns among my workmates & we wonder how to reduce it.
Actually, we will deploy files with ~50Kb, but total created package size is 12xx Kb (1200 + 50).
And what we would like to reduce is the size of installshield package. We are pretty confidence in reducing size of source file(*.exe, *.dll)
