Make all the partitions that contain data files that must be accessable in both systems any of the following:

FAT 12 (doubt it unless it is only <16 MB)
FAT 16 (still doubt it unless less than 300 MB)
FAT 32 (LINUX will most likely read this)
NTFS (linux should read it)

I think that the swap must be in EXT2 and that Redhat Boot might require EXT2.

I don't know much about XP, In the very rare case that it can use EXT2 use EXT2.  EXT2 is the most efficent file system currently avaible.

You could just have called the Q
Points for shivsa, re: http:Q_20875929.html
that would have been a whole less confusing.

I just posted a link in your other Q for this.
Sorry bout thte confusion.  Your right though...it would have made more sense.  thanks

Hey great job.  Lol.....  really, thanks for all your help and I will be better minded about this matter in the future.  I just felt bad because I gave the points away and you answered correctly to begin with.  Thanks to LucF for your understanding.
You're welcome ;-)
You both are welcome. :-)
