Red screened when trying to paste into Using Doc

It depends on what version of notes you are having and memory resources and cpu utilization and all other hardware system parameters.

When this happens check the windows Task manager for any clue on why this happens and which program is taking up the resources. Also upgrade your notes version if you are using much older one.

Give me some more detailed steps on what you are doing and intention of why ?

I am using R5.011

I am trying to copy a word document which contains some tables and text into the Using Document in designer. It was created in Word

Instead of doing paste do a paste special and select Rich text from the option and see if you can get over this message.

What is your OS version ? As OLE is somewhat related to the level of OS version that you have and notes honors it.

Do you have any merged cells in the word table ? If so remove them and try pasting plain table ... I know notes had some issues with pasting table containing merged cells in the word table !! Not sure if they have fixed that in R6 ??
