CTRL+'key' event

I have java console app, and I need to know when CTRL+'key' is pressed. How can I do that, I guess I can't use System.in.read() func. ?

Here is how you do a key pressed in java :

YourComponent.addKeyListener(new KeyAdapter() {
   public void keyPressed(KeyEvent e) {    
      if (e.getKeyCode() == KeyEvent.CTRL_C) {
      // Your Operation . . .

amakalski, usually when control sequences are entered into a terminal, they are received by the terminal, but not necessarily forwarded to Java. Check to see if you can change settings for your terminal to forward control sequences.
