Member server not accessing domain user accounts when setting shares

btsol asked
Last Modified: 2010-04-19
We have a Windows 2003 SBS server running as a DC, and another windows 2003 server running as a member server used as a terminal services server. When we setup a share on the terminal server and go to set the share security it is pulling user info from the local machine not the domain. i.e We can not set security on a folder on the member server with an account that comes from the domain. How do i set the member server to pull security info from the domain controller rather than its local account info??

Thanks in advance.....

Awesome!!, yes it was the fact that i had my isps dsn servers in there rather then my DCs DNS settings. Thanks alot :-)

No worries! Glad we got that one sorted rather painlessly! <smile!>
Thanks for your consideration and best of luck!!
