I would like to know if it's possible to use QuickTime to hold Video Conferencing sessions?   Is there any documentation on the web to do this?

I currently have QuickTime viewer, QuickTimer Broadcaster and QuickTime streamming server running on my OS X 10.3 server.

If the above isn't possible,  is there any free video conferencing software that is platform independent?

excluding yahoo, msn, ichat av.

You probably could but why? iChat is BUILT for audio/video conferencing. iChat is also compatible with AOL's video conferencing so that would be considered platform independent.

ichat doesn't support muti-person video conferencing...  I also would like to use a application that more secure than AOL.
