Reassign boot and system partition
I recently realized a strange situation on one of my W2k Servers. I found the following facts:
Drive D: holds the boot files (boot.ini, ntldr, ntdetect), it is a primary partition. So this is the system partition.
Drive C: holds the WINNT folder, it is a logical partition.
The boot.ini line to boot the system reads as:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)par tition(2)\ WINNT
I have no idea how I produced this situation but I'd like to have both boot and system partition on Drive C: as on all other servers. How can I do this without reinstalling the whole thing?
