Change the column width in xls files

Last Modified: 2013-11-20
I'm writing an xls files (office10) and everything works fine. I can put data in cells ect.
I need help for changing the width of the columns, and I don't have manuals that gives me the excel functions declaration.

Those are few lines of my program, just to let you understand what I'm talking about.

  _ApplicationPtr pXL;

  pXL->Visible[0] = VARIANT_TRUE;

  WorkbooksPtr pBooks = pXL->Workbooks;
  _WorkbookPtr pBook  = pBooks->Add((long)xlWorksheet);
  _WorksheetPtr pSheet = pXL->ActiveSheet;
  pSheet->Name = "GpsLogger";

  pSheet->Range["A1"][vtMissing]->Value2 = "Nº";
  pSheet->Range["B1"][vtMissing]->Value2 = "PPM";

There should be a call that sets the width of the "A" and "B" columns...
Can you help me? Could you understand me?

Do you have any idea about changing the type of data in a cell (Numbers, Text, Time ect.)?

Is possible, but I couldn't find it.
Anyway, you gave me the idea and I descoverd how to do it!

  pSheet->Range["A1"][vtMissing]->ColumnWidth = 20; //It change the size of all the "A" column

  RangePtr pRange = pSheet->Range["A1:A20"][vtMissing];
  pRange->ColumnWidth = 20;

I didn't descover yet how to get to the defines, like: XlHAlign.xlHAlignCenter (value == -4108)...
  pRange->HorizontalAlignment = -4108; //in this way works I've got -4108 in list of function from EXCEL.EXE

I'm still tiring to understand how to change the type of data in a cell (Numbers, Text, Time ect.)?

Where can I find a list of these kind of functions? I can't find it on the web!
Do you have any ideas? Do you know a web site where I can find these kind of answers?

Thanks for your help!
