Hello Experts,

Here is my eval code:

   <cfquery name="nameQry" datasource="DATA" dbtype="ODBC">
     Select * from centerlist where CenterName = '#session.centername#'

    <cfset username = evaluate(#nameQry.firstName# & ' ' & #nameQry.LastName#)>

Any idea why I am getting this error message?

<P>An error occurred while evaluating the expression:
<P><PRE> username = evaluate(#nameQry.firstName# & ' ' & #nameQry.LastName#)
</PRE></P></P>Error near line 15, column 11.<HR><P>An error has occurred while processing the expression:<XMP>   John Smith
</XMP><P><P>Invalid parser construct found on line 1 at position 6. ColdFusion was looking at the following text:<XMP>Smith</XMP>Invalid expression format. The usual cause is an error in the expression structure.<P><P> <p>The error occurred while processing an element with a general identifier of (CFSET), occupying document position (15:5) to (15:79).</p><P><P>

I have tried a number of different variations with no luck....
