I have a space problem on this computer. I would like to free up some space on the "D" drive in this case because it only has 205MB of free space. Would purchasing lets say 256MB of a memory stick help free up some more space to install a program or two? I know that memory is used to enhance performance.
The OS is Win XP Pro. The total physical memory is 256 although it is 248. The available physical memory is 91.4MB. The total virtual memory is 854.09MB with available virtual memory 560.91MB on a 449Mhz system. Also, would using some of this virtual memory, to free up space, be advisable?
I would purchase a bigger harddrive except the affordability right now.
Thank you any help would be appreciated.
