Last Modified: 2013-11-30
I have bought  a router/ADSL/firewall modem (http://www.speedtouch.com/prod510.htm speedtouch 510 v4).

But how do i test my NAT settings? Like i have an FTP on port 2233, a http server on 8080. How do i know the outside world can connect.

but why is port 80 (http) listed as stealth but my port 2233 ftp listed as open? Wheras both are open ?!

Are you forwarding port 80 on the router to a port on the web server?
(some routers call this a virtual server )
and are you allowing outgoing connections from your webserver?
The port will be shown as stealth if there is no response, and the routers own port 80 probably will not reply to a port scan.

I used NAT to setup my FTP server, settings

Intern adres
Extern adres not set:2233
Prtl tcp.

For http, mirc i didn't need to do anything.

as I see in your original question, u said your http server is running on port 8080 not 80 ! may be your webserver is running on port 8080 not 80 try port 8080 and see if it is stealth or open ?
