Hi,

i have a problem using ServerSupportFunction. i want to download file from server. so i have the following code:

BOOL dld(LPCTSTR fileName, LPCTSTR saveAs)
{
CFile file;
try
{
  file.Open(fileName, CFile::typeBinary, &fileEx);
}
catch(...)
{
  ...
  return FALSE;
}

HSE_TF_INFO tf;
tf.pfnHseIO = myCallBack; // empty function
tf.pContext = 0;
tf.hFile = file;
tf.pszStatusCode = "200 OK";

tf.pHead = 0;
tf.HeadLength = 0;
tf.BytesToWrite = 0;
tf.Offset = 0;
tf.TailLength = 0;
tf.dwFlags = HSE_IO_DISCONNECT_AFTER_SEND | HSE_IO_ASYNC;

DWORD dw;
CString header = "Content-Type: application/octet-stream\r\nContent-Disposition: file; filename=\"";
header += saveAs;
header += "\"\r\nFilename: ";
header += saveAs;
header += "\r\n\r\n";
LPTSTR lheader = new TCHAR[1024];
lstrcpy(lheader, header.GetString());
dw = strlen(lheader);
HSE_SEND_HEADER_EX_INFO headerData;
headerData.pszHeader = lheader;
headerData.cchHeader = dw;
headerData.cchStatus = 6;
headerData.pszStatus = "200 OK";
if (!pECB->ServerSupportFunction(pECB->ConnID, HSE_REQ_SEND_RESPONSE_HEADER_EX, &headerData, NULL, NULL))
{
  ...
  delete lheader;
  return FALSE;
}

if (!pECB->ServerSupportFunction(pECB->ConnID, HSE_REQ_TRANSMIT_FILE, &tf, 0, 0))
{
   ..
  delete lheader;
  return FALSE;
}

delete lheader;
return TRUE;
}

it works just fine on my computer with windows 2000 (not server edition)
then i copy my program to a computer with windows 2000 server, and it doesn't work. it works only with files that are less than 64Kb (i'm not sure of that but only with small files).
so does anyone had this problem before, or maybe someone has a solution..
why is this happening
anything will help!
thanx...

I have found the solution, the problems were with file flags, and with that the context parameter was NULL... any way thanks for trying to help, but HSE_IO_SYNC is not supported when using HSE_REQ_TRANSMIT_FILE.
