We have a Windows 2000 Server that we are going to use for Terminal Services access. &nbsp;We do not want the remote user to have the 'Shutdown' option, hence they may accidentally shutdown the server, is there a way to remove the 'Shutdown' option for a Terminal Services user without modifying the registry values? If not, then what is the best way to go about this without causing any major problems. &nbsp;Thank you for the help.<br />

Remove Shutdown on Terminal Services Client

Windows 2000 is an operating system for use on both client and server computers. It is the successor to Windows NT 4.0, and is the last version of Microsoft Windows to display the "Windows NT" designation. Four editions of Windows 2000 were released (Professional, Server, Advanced Server, and Datacenter Server) that shared a core set of features, including many system utilities such as the Microsoft Management Console.
