API CONNECT ERROR (10061)
I am running Windows XP Home on a Sony PC, Pent IV, 1.4GHZ, with 256 MB RAM. I connect to the web using SBC DSL.
About two months ago I began getting an API connect error whenever I try to download files or programs from MOST internet sites.
the actual error reads:
Windows socket error:no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it (10061) on API connect
This has occurred on numerous sites over the past months. Most of these sites I have accessed from another computer and been able to download with no problem.
Any help appreciated as this is REALLY a bug and a pain
Thanks
