XMLDataDocument over XMLDocument.

This is a simple question.

when do i pick over XMLDataDocument over XMLDocument.

my functionality is to read from an xml file. which one would i use.

XMLDataDocument inherits from XMLDocument. It has some extras for dealing with relational data and working with the DataSet object.  

If you are going to be doing a lot of work with relational data and datasets then it is probably worth using the XmlDataDocument.  If you are just consuming or transforming XML that is not relational in nature stick with the XMLDocument.
