ROAMING PROFILES: Allow users to choose whether to have their files synchronized at logon or not

Hi folks

Regarding roaming user profiles, is there any way you can give the user the option to not synchronize their files to the hard drive if they don't want to?

when working with roaming profiles, I prefer to set up home folders for saving docs to.  It will be mapped as a drive and doesn't require sync when logging on.  Use folder redirection to set My Documents to the home folder.  Home folders a re still readily available from each machine in the same manner. This greatly reduces the logon waits.

Thanks kabaam

I actually came to the same solution, but I appreciate your prompt reply. So the points are yours!

I guess this means that due to folder redirection being much better, having the option to stop sync at logon would be irrelevant - and so doesn't exist?

Thanks for your help
no problem Al, gl
