My long search for proxy servers &nbsp;lead me to a couple of good proxy servers such as MS ISA and Wingate and CCProxy. I really liked Wingate. It is powerful and simple. But they all lack what I needed a proxy server for in the first place; to limit access to the Internet for the kids. See, I have a home network connected to the Internet through MS ICS. The only problem is that the kids stay on the Internet for hours everyday. I need to limit their Internet access. All the proxy servers I examined have connection hours, but they all limit the connection through a time window, i.e. from 5 to 7p.m.. What I need is to limit the access by time slice and NOT a time window, i.e. 2 hours a day max regardless of what time a day. If there is a proxy server with such feature, please let me know about it. <br />

The Windows operating systems have distinct methodologies for designing and implementing networks, and have specific systems to accomplish various networking processes, such as Exchange for email, Sharepoint for shared files and programs, and IIS for delivery of web pages. Microsoft also produces server technologies for networked database use, security and virtualization.
