Get Version/Build Information

i have been trying for the past few days to get the build number of my .exe file to match it to the a key in the dll. im working with Microsoft Visual C++ .net 2003 and have been getting linking error when i try to build it with GetFileVersionInfo. i would like to know how i can write a "script" to compleate this function. all i need is to get the build number of the main file ex. "Shadower.exe".

You need to add 'Version.lib' to your linker options.
