How can I connect an satellite usb modem to a router?

I have an earthlink satellite setup that uses a usb modem.  Is there a way to connect with a router.  I am using ICS but would prefer a router.

that is the problem with USB modems..  there are no routers that I know of that use this interface, only standard RJ45 ports...   We have discussed this before in these forums, and the usual result is that you need to purchase a standard modem with ports that allow CAT5 to connect the modem and the router...

I think that many ISP's do this to keep their customers from installing these devices..  A real shame, since I personally don't like to use ICS to run a network..
