Install Win2000 on 5GB PCMCIA Card

Is there any reason why an install of win 2k will not work on a 5GB Kingston PCMCIA card?

Windows will only install on Hard Drives, not other storage devices such as that or USB storage devices.

The setup will only search for IDE or SCSI drives, and won't search for PCMCIA, etc.
