good day i have windasm and there is this app at

it is a free program
this is how it works (the program)
there  are bottles that fall, and when a bottle hits the bottom, you lose a life
now for the life of me , i cant get windasm to step over the command that calls the life to be deducted.
i use step into but i get a thread error. i have spent a good few hours on this app, and
i will be a bit of a hero if i can pull this one off. as i said im a newbie to asm but i am trying like hell
if anyone would be willing to give me a few pointers it would be great!

LOL, all this to see naked women?

Funny enough this is not a good app to learn on,

The program area is protected from memory writes (they get set back via backend hook) modification of the program area in the physical file results in the code flat out not working. (internal checksum)

I also did a resource scan, the pictures your looking for are not stored in standard format (even though they are pasted as dibs)

in short, unless you REALLY REALLY want to do this, its not gonna happen, one thing I did notice while I was trying to get around, the graphics are not synched to clock, if you set process priority to something below normal then you can bog your computer down doing something (like encoding) to make it ridicoulsy easy to get the bottles.

p.s. my record is 9800

kavar, thanks a lot man
i will be taking your advice, yesterday i found out what you just confirmed, so i copied some huge files over via the network
and the bottles went dead slow, i got 14700 but the ladies were still hanging on to the last piece of clothing
i think ill learn on another app.
thanks again!
