How can I block extensions from exchange 5.5?

I should have said attachments like " .pdf "

Attachment blocking is a feature that is not native to Exchange. To perform this type of actions, you can look at content scanning tools. Also Email virus scanners like Antigen (www.sybari.com) perform this type of scanning. Added benefit of using a virus scanning tool for exchange is that you can let content pass without a virus control.
