Outlook Express - Removing Attachments
Hello,
I have Outlook Express 6.0 at home with Windows XP. Recently, I've noticed that emails received by me that contained attachments (Word documents) are being stripped. Instead of the Attachment(s), I receive this in the body of the msg: "Outlook Express removed access to unsafe attachments." How can I disable this ? Thanks to everyone !!

It should not actually change .. May be someone else had checked that option there.
Uncheck the option and see if it would remain that way or change. I would be very surprised if it changes

Hi Sunray,
I tried your fix last night and of course, it worked. I suspect the option was not changed manually, since I really am the only one that "tweaks" this computer and only on an "as needed" basis. However, I recently updated to SP1, which I understand from your article may have changed the option without me knowing. Again, thank you for your expert advice and here are your points.

Thanks so much much for taking the time to respond. I will try this as soon as I get home and will confirm your response by tomorrow (promise). One quick question, any reason why this would change all by itself ? Thanks again, Vickie
