logitech webcam not detected-USB problem??
Hi,
I have a HP notebook with Windows XP professional. I recently bought a logitech USB webcam. After installing the software from the CD, the webcam is not detected.
I have checked the BIOS settings and USB is enabled. I checked the Device Manager and I have VIA Rev 5 or later USB Universal Host controller.
Can you tell me what else to do, to solve this problem.
Also my digital camera is not detected too.
I am totally lost. Any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks,

Do you have another usb device (memory stick, ...). Tr with a usb device, that you know it works.
Or try your webcam on another pc.
If it works there's probably something wrong with your usb port

Thanks for the comments.
Actually I found that the VIA USB enhanced host controller drivers were not installed properly. I installed them and everything works just fine :)
