TightVNC Viewer not working

Have installed TightVNC on a PC which is on a network.  Usually that work fine but not on this one.  This is a Win2k with all Updates done.  When I use Explorer with http://ip_address:5800 all I got is a blank white screen with full screen rectangle and a small 'X' red button top left corner.  I assume first it was related to VPN configuration but tried also on LAN and same result.  Any idea?

Try using the viewer? If not, I'd reinstall the host.

The faulty PC is not able to connect to any of the network PC having TightVNC Server running on them while others PC can.  I even tried VNC Viewer on the faulty PC and still do not work.

Okay...so the viewing PC is having the problem not a server pc. And you have reinstalled the program on it? You might try another flavor of VNC...maybe ultravnc or realvnc? Those have a few more viewing options which might get you around the problem.
