windows does not surf.

I can ping a website but when I go to INTERNET explorer it gives me page can't be displayed, removed spyware and still doing it.
the kak.tha virus still showing but before even with the virus INTERNET explorer was working just fine, I tried repairing the INTERNET explorer and it did not help.

Any ideas before I format and re-install.

try clearing all internet temporary files/history and cookies. Also make sure IE is not set to Work Offline.

What are you doing about getting rid of this viruse? you do not want to have just setting there.
