I'm trying to write a script which sends a email to a specific address but it always wants a "dot and a return for the "Cc:"

The script:

mail -s"Proxy Error! $1 down at `date`" root

is there any possybility to automate a "dot" and a return ?

Hi timan72,

put that contents in a file and redirect input to that file .... btw you can specify cc users on the same line using the -c flag
