How do I get an Autocad file properly formatted in Visio?

I have an AutoCad .dxf file (created using AutoDesk Building System 2004) & am trying to open it properly formatted in Vision 2002 (SR-1).  I can get a very small drawing to open, but am unable to scale it larger.  Can anyone provide some guidance?
