Since you are running a windows server (obviously) unless your running a linux chiliasp or something. If you server has PHP installed also, I would change your apache or IIS Mine types so .asp or .php are both php and asp documents. Then use the <?php ?> for php and then <% %> I think it is for asp. I am not an asp coder so this is just a shot in the dark, but it might work.

hi viperweb,

thx for your hint, i tried it out, but it does not seem to work.  The php works, but the asp stuff stops working when i do this.
Any other help is greatly appreciated.

Try addign a mime type for php to .asp files and see if that works. In theory it seems like it would work. Ill keep trying to figure out something. Uusally most don't do a php/asp hybrid as they are kinda contridictory. You usually use one or the other. ahah. ill keep looking. good luck.
