The name variable of a listdir action on a cfftp tag returns not the name of the dir but a srting that includes the name and the date of the file and the owver.  Example ouput (the folder is called site):

I'm connecting from a w2k box to a solaris unix box.

The attribute you are providing (listdir) is performing as designed - it returns the results of an 'ls' as a query result set, with columns and rows you can access by name.

If all you need is the name of the current folder, use action="getcurrentdir".

If I'm off base, let me know, and elaborate some on your problem, and I will try to make some more suggestions.

Take Care,

Seth

Well, I don't need the currentDir, I need all the dir names.  But your answer does answer my question, so points awarded (I've gone about this problem a different way now).
