problem playing an english game xp convert it to french and bug it

hi

i just got a new pc and installed all the patch and everything using win xp

my pc is in french and the game is in english , the game is everquest

the patcher is in english usualy and not it shows in french ??? after that i get string not found

any idea what to do ?

or how i can fake my xp language or something

Controlpanel->Regional and Language options..
In there youll find teh options to add languages, and extend the support for languages (hidden in advanced tabs..)

tryed to play with that i set my language to english (us)

i have another pc with xp with the game and i have no problem at all and its in french also

it must be a stupid checkbox somewhere or something like that

Propably... Check the setup in both PCs to find the error..

the new pc got all the new patch and stuff and the lastest version of xp

there should be a default setting somewhere that tell xp to transfer the txt language in french from english and i need to uncheck this box

the problem is there im sure i just cant figure where
