Sytem tray icon not handling messages

I have a simple ATL COM service.I have made a simple system tray icon and when ever i start the service the icon is displayed on the system tray so far so good.Now  i am
trying to display a dialog box when i click on the icon,but the message loop is not responding or firing any events.can i have a general algorithm or any sites which have a similar routine.thank you.

1. You can download the CTrayIcon example (or get Chris Maunder's version of it).
2. How do you fill your NOTIFYICONDATA structure before you call Shell_NofityIcon?
3. Does it jump into your callback function when you click the icon?

           the clue was good enough.There was a problem with the call back function in the NOTIFYICONDATA structure.
