VB and SQL Server

Hi all,

Where can I find resources on the net on VB programming with SQL server as back-end?  I need info on "best practices" for connecting to sql server, lock types, cursors, exectuing SPs, sample code for db operations such as inset/delete/save etc.

Thanks

Hi,
Use ADO (ActiveX data Object) in Visual Basic to connect to SQL Server. Here is the samples:

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.
