if any one know how to diable the status bar in our parent window Iam asking about while opening a page I want to diable a Status bar of the brower because while we are try to link any links the browser status bar show the path I want to prevant this.help

window.open('address','target','status=no');

or

window.status('your message');

Your answer is only suit when we open a new window with in a parent by I asked about parent window itself

You cannot do that to an existing/already opened window.
You have to kill the window and reopen with no status bar...
