thread methds(th.suspend() & th.resume()) are not workin On IE Why

hello...I made my aplt on jdk1.1.8 and in my aplt thread.suspend() & thread.resume() is not giving desired output on IE, but it is workin properly on appletviewer window.For eg. On IE if i 2nd time click on pauseBtn the aplt is not paused at all. Can u help me why this is happening

Well those methods are deprecated and should not be in your code anyway as they are essentially faulty. Use the following and retest:
