I'm also trying to validate the user inputted data from another jsp but am getting a broken link error on <SCRIPT src="gen_validatorv2.js"  language="JavaScript"></SCRIPT>. Please help.

gen_validatorv2.js needs to be in the same directory as the jsp page.
Perhaps specify its absolute location.

The file gen_validatorv2.js should be in the same directory as the jsp page that includes the <script> line. Is that the case?
