Cannot Find Hard Drive

hi i have a question about my computer while im instaling windows xp home ( on the first page of blue screen ) it ask me press enter to continue but when i hit enter it says setup cannot continue because system cannot find any hard drive is there any way to solve this problem?  <email address removed by sirbounty>

Hi random14,
I would suggest that you recheck your internal cabling.
Did you allow setup to create a partition first?  If not, restart the setup process and create a partition and format it either FAT32 or NTFS...

Do also verify if the hard disk is being detected by the system BIOS as well.
