How do I get my Deskjet 960c printer back after losing it when I connected another USB connection for a Nikon Coolpix 4300?

I recently purchased a Nikon Coolpix 4300 camera and downloaded some pictures utilizing a USB connection.  That worked perfectly, but upon trying to print a document, I got the error, "Driver file has been corrupted".  and the printer was no longer available.  As I've been using the printer on one USB port for over 2 years with no issues, I have to assume that the problem is a result of using the other USB port with the camera.  Is there any incompatability with thee 2 devices?

try downloading the latest driver from both mfgr and install the printer again

reinstallation steps....
1. goto hardware control panel, then remove that printer and its drivers
2. goto physically disconnect the printer and its cables from the computer
3. boot up w/out the printer one time
4. shut down
5. install your printer to the computer again, cables, etc...
6. when asked for the driver, use the latest downloaded one

should work
