I am writting a membership program and would like to be able to take pictures from a webpage<br />
I have researched hundreds of pages over the past 4 days I still have fadedclarity<br />
I would like to make this post the go to for the answers of what I have found to be <br />
an unanswered topic<br />
it seems that apple and java have taken the torch I have found many java based solutions<br />
What i didn't find was implementation instructions<br />
<br />
There is also vb script for still image capture <br />
I will post this exact question there too<br />

HTML web based button click webcam capture

JavaServer Pages (JSP) allow the development of dynamically generated web pages. It uses the Java programming language; JSP pages are translated into servlets at runtime, with each servlet being cached and reused until the JSP is modified. JSP allows Java code to be interleaved with static web markup content, so the resulting page can be compiled and executed on the server to deliver the content.
