Internet Explorer

Hi guys...

I have litle project wich need to run Internet Explorer with url, wich i show in my project.

So some litle exsample:

editbox1.text:='www.http://www.experts-exchange.com'; //this is URL

button1click
begin
programm runs "Internet explorer" with URL what i wrote in that edit box

so program runs explorer with URL www.http://www.experts-exchange.com
end;

Is it posible to do?

yes it is possible.
try this:

procedure Execute(url: String);
var s:String;
begin
  s:='';
  If Pos('http://',lowercase(Url))<=0 then s:='http://';
  ShellExecute(Self.WindowHandle, 'open', PChar(s+Url), nil, nil, SW_SHOWNORMAL);
end;


this will launch the default internet browser with your URL so it it more genereal
in your case it might be internet explorer

one more thing before useing
shellexecute you must put
    ShellApi
in your uses clause, i think

Or you could use:

uses ComObj;

procedure TForm1.Button1Click(Sender: TObject);
var
IE: Variant;
begin
IE:=CreateOleObject('internetexplorer.application');
IE.Visible:=True;
IE.navigate('http://www.experts-exchange.com');
end;

You can also access a lot of the Internet Explorer browsers content using the com object.
