OWA on Windows 2000 Advanced Server Stopped working externally, only error is 36871 "A fatal error occurred while creating an SSL server credential.
Hi. I have a Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP3 DC w/AD and Exchange 2000 installed. OWA is enabled and has been working fine internally and externally (port forward on firewall, uses SSL cert). I installed Panda Business AdminSecure eval yesterday and apart from some clients becoming unusable when the AV is installed remotely (!), everything seemed ok. Except OWA cannot be accessed externally. Other internal websites are fine, but the OWA site using https tries to load and eventually comes back with Page cannot be found. Initially there was a red error sign on Exchange and Public in the IIS mc, but restarting IIS got rid of them. I'm flummoxed as OWA works as expected with internal url's of http://servername/exchange and https://servername/exchange.
Make sure port 443 is not being blocked.
