Address Book stores (and exports) its data in RFC 2425 and RFC 2426 vCard format.
This format a representation of attribute:value pairs defining contact information.
However, the attributes are extensible and modifiable.  Because each record can
have a different number of attribute:value pairs and could have a very different
selection of attributes,  they are not well suited to tab delimited or comma delimited
files.
