I want to create an additional domain controller, but when i run dcpromo.exe it says if i want to uninstall active directory. how can i do this? how can i create an other domain? without  uninstalling the forest root domain

You are not quite clear here.....are you trying to run dcpromo on a machine that is already a DC?  You need to run dcpromo on a second standalone server and promote it to a DC.  Sounds like the machine you are trying to promote is already a DC in some domain..........

Sorry I didn´t post it clear enough.... What I want to do is to change the domain name from XXXX.local to just XXXX. Where and how can I do it?

You don't do that with dcpromo.
