We just installed a new pix 6.3 last weekend and all of sudden we are getting what appears to be timeouts on occasion when an asp page tries to connect via a dsn to a sql server. The dsn is pointing to a local 192 ip address. The problem seems to happen more frequently later at night when traffic is light.

We are behind the pix with one-to-one. 192.168.2.0 local network. Both machines are behind the firewall.

What does 'show conn' say when you're experiencing this problem ?
You should be on PIX v6.3(3) - there were a few bugs with 6.3(1) that may be affecting things.
Are there any error messages on the SQL box ?
What error is the .asp user presented with ?
Is the SQL connection set to time out on the SQL server, or does the .asp page expect the DSN to be 'open' for exclusive use for x minutes ?
