Undeliverable emails with unknown addresses (i.e.  I never sent them)

Recently I have been receiving email notifications of 'undeliverable' for various reasons, but when I look at the email address it was supposedly sent to, the addresses are none that I have ever seen, and certainly not used.

I have my NAV fairly up to date, but wonder if it is likely that I have some sort of virus.

Tks.

There have been a spate of these occuring recently to many people, you are not alone, Often the cause is due to the Mydoom virus (or variants thereof) which harvests contacts from its victims address book and then sends off emails to them. Often the originating address  is often changed to one that it has taken too so the email will seem to come frome sopmewhere else. i.e. the non infected computer.

visit www.symantec.com and run an online virus scan, make sure your AV software is up to date. because of the nature of this virus it may not actualy have infected the computer that the email says it came from but its best to be carefull
